Digital VR Studio Ghost Machine announced today that their newest major VR project,Endless Dead, has been approved by the Steam Greenlight community for inclusion in the growing Steam VR games library. This release will mark the fourth VR game Ghost Machine will offer to customers on the digital downloading service following Motorsport Revolution and Superbike TT, which went on sale on the popular games service early this year.
"We could not be more excited to take Endless Dead to Steam VR. Seeing the growing support of VR in the games community as a whole shows the promise for developers who are taking the risk to focus on developing VR native games before the hardware is commercially available.", stated Neal Nellans, CEO of Ghost Machine.
An early playable demo of Endless Dead was developed internally at the VR studio and was well received in early previews. "Endless Dead takes isometric dual stick shooters to a new level and is a perfect match for VR. Watching a massive battle between your character
and a massive army of the undead is an incredibly intense experience that is immediately compelling in VR.", Nellans commented.
Endless Dead is expected to ship on Steam with support for the latest Oculus Rift head mounted display and the upcoming Vive Headset as well as a Standard version for those not owning a Rift headset in Winter of 2015.
